We have one child at the elementary school and one at the Kings Contrivance pre-school.

Our daughter was in Mrs. Christie’s kindergarten class. It was everything that I wanted for our daughter in kindergarten. Mia had a remarkable experience and Mrs. Christie helped to significantly improve her writing skills, expand her interest in reading and give her a love of math and science. Mia loved Mrs. Christie and received a fantastic kick-off to her formal education.

Our son was in the Three’s class at Kings Contrivance with Ms. Karen and Ms. Jonette. Our experience was just as positive. The teachers were caring and sensitive to the teary drop-offs and pushed Jacob to try new things. We would have liked to have more focus on writing/drawing lines and shapes to start the process of writing letters. Jacob enjoyed the play-based learning approach which fed his inquisitive nature.

We are moving out of state so both children will be leaving Columbia Academy this summer. We had a great experience at both locations and would recommend it to friends in the area.
