Field Trips
Columbia Academy believes that providing students with the opportunity for real world experience allows for better understanding of the materials being taught in the academic setting. Because of our locations we are able to attend many of the cultural sights in the Baltimore/Washington metro area. Students ranging from preschool through eighth grade have the opportunity to attend monthly field trips. Some of these trips include: Fort McHenry, Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, The Cryptology Museum, The National Aquarium , Toby’s Dinner Theatre, and many other local attractions. Our toddlers and two year olds also have the opportunity to have in house visitors throughout the school year. Some of these include: BJ and Cody, Mr. Don, Tracey Aldridge, The Zoomobile, and Eric Energy, to name a few. We hope you join us for these fun and educational field trips and shows.
