As parents, we entrust our greatest blessing, our son, Oliver, to the staff at Columbia Academy (Kings Contrivance) every day, and we are grateful for the loving care and guidance he receives. The Teachers, Assistant Directors and Director look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. They know each child’s name, likes, dislikes, and always have a smile on their face.
We enrolled at Columbia Academy in January 2018 when our son was 8 weeks and he has been blessed with two amazing teachers (Ms. Cherise and Ms. Bryn). The teachers in the infant/toddler program remain with the children for the first 2 years, providing a great sense of consistency and security for the kids and parents. His teachers understand his challenges, support his development and handle him with grace. Each day at drop off, we know we are leaving him in the best care. Ms. Robin (another infant/toddler teacher) and Ms. Cherise always greet Oliver with a smile and a friendly face. The app that they use to send updates and pictures about our child’s day is great. The almost daily pictures help capture some special moments as he learns and plays throughout the day. In addition to the app, we receive weekly curriculum/activity updates, which help us at home to focus on the same learning objectives and skills he is learning during the week.
We cannot say, “Thank You” enough to the staff and leadership at Columbia Academy (Kings Contrivance) for taking such great care of our son.
